 It's A Full Time Job Just Being YOU!

In today’s fast-paced world, it is not unusual for people "lose" their sense of self through life and career demands. Most people feel that they are being constantly tugged in many different directions and are searching for a way to recapture a feeling of balance. This program is designed to help regain the sense of self. Shirley’s approach accentuates the positive (and humorous) aspects of living, while exploring five dimensions of “self.” She encourages listeners to take charge of life and living by examining where personal energy is invested!


Purpose: To help audience members understand that a balanced sense of self helps them become more of who they are and in turn make a stronger impact in their world.

To help audience member re-focus on taking care of self as a positive way to take care of others.

Objectives: Participants will be able to:
1. Identify the 5 dimensions of self
2. Assess which areas need more attention
3. Appreciate their strengths
4. Begin a plan for personal growth and development
5. Recognize that although they are unique in who they are, their issues are not unique

Method:
1. Humorous and original lecture
2. Audience reflection
3. Personal inventory (optional)
